Frequently Asked Questions.
Is there a such thing as to long?
No, theres truly no such thing as your hair being “too long” we will trim you’re hairs down if they are truly “too long” the problem you’ll more so run into is if the hairs are too short. This is why we ask that if you are currently shaving or using a depilatory cream such as NAIR, you will need to let the hair grow 3-4 weeks minimum for your first wax. We like to tell clients this comparsion your hair needs to be the length of a cooked rice graIn.
This is my first time, How do I prepare?
It all begins with a positive mindset. Block out what you heard about waxing and give your new esthetician a fair chance. The most important rule is to be sure your hairs are long enough. We also recommend clients to wear loose clothing to their session just to make things easier on them with undressing. Cotton undies are always great to wear to allow the skin to breathe after your session.
Can I wax while menstruating?
Absolutely! We wax clients on their menstrual cycle daily. We simply ask that you wear a tampon, menstrual cup, or menstrual disc while you are waxing. This isn’t because we are grossed out by period blood, it’s to keep the vulva skin clean and dry to get you the best wax results. We also provide feminine wipes and fresh tampons in the suite if you need one! Some clients experience more sensitivity to pain and heat during the cycle especially at the beginning so we advise to take an OTC Tylenol or Ibuprofen (if you have no contraindications) 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment.
This is a frequently asked question?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
