Waxing FAQs—What to Know Before Getting Waxed at North Houston’s Favorite Waxing Studio.

  • For the cleanest, smoothest results, your hair needs to be at least the length of a grain of rice (about one-fourth of an inch). This typically means 3-4 weeks of growth after shaving so our premium hard wax can grip the hair perfectly from the root. There’s no such thing as hair being “too long” — we’ll trim it down if needed.

  • No worries—we've got you! If this is your first wax, we recommend allowing your hair to grow to about ¼ inch (roughly the length of a grain of rice or after 2–3 weeks of shaving). On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean skin and avoid applying lotions, oils, or deodorant to the treatment area. Wear comfortable clothing, and if you're feeling nervous, that's completely normal! We'll walk you through the entire process, answer any questions, and make sure you feel as comfortable as possible from start to finish.

  • Absolutely! We wax clients on their menstrual cycle daily. Just wear a tampon, menstrual cup, or menstrual disc, and we’ll provide feminine wipes if you need one. Some clients feel more sensitive during their cycle, so we recommend an OTC Tylenol or Ibuprofen 30-45 minutes before your appointment if you have no contraindications.

  • A Brazilian wax removes hair. A Vajacial is a skincare treatment, deep cleanse, exfoliation, and a calming mask designed to treat ingrown hairs, dark spots, and texture. Pairing them in the same visit is our most recommended combo, since the Vajacial calms the skin right after waxing and helps prevent irritation.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book, which goes toward your remaining balance at your appointment. Cancel or reschedule 24+ hours ahead and you can transfer that deposit once to a new appointment within 7 days. Inside 24 hours or a no-show forfeits it, no-shows are charged in full.

  • Please plan to arrive on time. If you’re running behind, we allow a 5-minute grace period before a $15 late fee applies, if we can still fit you in. Beyond that, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

  • To keep the studio private and intimate, only the person receiving the service can be in the treatment room. Guests are welcome to wait in the downstairs lobby located on the first floor.

  • Cards or exact cash. A card on file is required to book.
